Our portable timber ‘pavilion’ structure, designed for Architecture & Design Scotland’s Best Use of Timber Awards, has now opened at The Lighthouse (Level 2), Glasgow and will be on show to until the 30th of March 2018.

The structure has been designed as a demountable kit of component parts that forms an adaptable space to display, to discuss, and importantly to celebrate the use of timber and construction in Scotland. The exhibition is planned to tour over the country for the next three years displaying annual timber awards. This year, the Scots Pine & Wych Elm structure takes the form of a timber ‘pavilion’ to house the shortlisted and award winning projects. In future year’s, the composed kit of parts can be adapted and used in other exhibition modes such as a display table.
